Prior to starting her own consultancy firm, Pavani Consultancy Services,  she was Associate Vice President (AVP) at Hetero Drugs Limited, responsible for Global Portfolio Strategy and Business Development.

Have proven track record in Global Portfolio, Business Development and Marketing Strategy & Brand Management.  She is Adept at Building new departments, and establishing processes with controls and execution excellence.

She was acknowledged for diligently setting up Portfolio department and processes in Mylan and Hetero.

During her Portfolio stints she identified 300+ products, harmonized 100 products across 100 countries  ranging from NCE’s (New Chemical Entities), FTF, 505 (b)2’s, Day 181, New Therapy identification and Generics.

Closed deals which led to launch of new divisions like Aesthetics and Respiratory in India for Dr.Reddy’s, enabled entry of Hetero into Hormonal category in US. Differentiated and niche products TT which led to improvement in Portfolio basket. Handled TT, CMO, Inlicesing/Outlicensing and divestment deals.

Experienced in handling more than 5 Top 250  ranked brands each contributing Rs. 1000 Mn like Stamlo, StamloBeta, Enam, Nise Susp, Clamp, Econorm in Dr.Reddy’s during her long career she worked with multiple C-suite and diverse set of leaders and decision makers.

She has been a recipient of multiple awards during her corporate career. Note worthy among them are “Best New Product Initiatives;   “Pillar of Strength”. She was also recognized for initiating and formulating the roll out of “Mitr, a patient counselling initiative” for Cancer patients as part of India Strategy. Appreciated for release of “Guidelines for Diarrhea “book by Dr.Abdul Kalam.

She completed  International Business program from Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta.

She is currently operating from Hyderabad, India.
